TartBurners.com has just completed a major web site upgrade. The new site loads much faster, has better navigation and larger product pictures. There is now also an optional login function where customers can save billing and shipping addresses and view previously placed orders (starting with the creating of a login account). We do not save credit card information. There is now also an "estimated delivery date" with US map for products as well as other new features.
We hope customers like our new site and we appreciate any feedback.

Reduced Shipping Costs
We recently increased our free shipping minimum to $75.00 for ground shipping in the 48 states. However, we have decided to reduce the shipping charge on orders between $50 and $75 to $3.95. Orders under $50 will continue to be charged $8.75 for ground shipping.

Happy Holidays and Vacation
Happy holidays from TartBurners.com. We are closed until January 5, 2009. We will not be shipping orders or returning messages or emails until that time.
Effective December 24, 2008, the minimum order for free ground shipping in the 48 states will be increased from $50 to $75. We regret having to do this; however, we have maintained the $50 level for 6-1/2 years (since July 2002) despite annual increases in UPS shipping rates that we absorb. We have expanded our product selection exponentially during that time and plan to continue to expand product offerings in 2009. While were once just the "Tart Burner Superstore", we now offer almost 4000 SKUs of candles, home fragrance items, personal care and products for the home. We hope the the larger selection makes it easier to meet the free shipping minimum for our customers.

Holiday Shipping and Schedule

We are still in stock on most items but are running out of a few categories, mainly Crazy Mountain warmers, McCall's Christmas candles and various Mud Pie monogram letters. If you are looking for these items, we suggest not waiting much longer.
We are still shipping virtually every order in 1 business day or less; however UPS Ground takes a week to get to destinations east of the Mississippi River from our location in California. We strongly suggest ordering by December 15 for Christmas delivery by ground. Orders placed on 12/16 and 12/17 may still get there in time, but it is better to build in leeway for weather and other unforeseen delays.
Our last day of shipping in 2008 will be December 23 and then we will close for vacation and reopen January 5. We will be unable to return phone calls and emails during vacation.
