Cleaning Wax Out of a Tart Burner
We get asked a lot from customers about how to get wax out of their tart burners. Many people put them in their freezers or scrape wax out with a knife or other sharp object. These methods may work, but they can damage the burner. Over time, putting ceramics in a freezer can cause them to crack. We sell many burners in a lot of shapes and sizes, some electric some not, and some with removable bowls, so no one method will work for all. One method we have found works well for most burners. Let the wax cool and coagulate into a soft and warm shape, but don't let it get totally solid. Then push it out in a clump with two fingers.
