Information on Shipping Options

The default shipping option at www.tartburners.com is "Standard" for shipping in the 48 continental states. Standard shipping costs $5.99 for orders under $75.00 and is free for orders over $75.00. Standard shipping gives TartBurners.com the option to choose the most economical shipping option for the order, taking into account weight, size, location and the products included. Most light or physically small orders ship via U.S. Mail, mainly Priority Mail or First Class Mail. These services have online tracking like UPS. The time in transit is not guaranteed, but is usually faster than UPS Ground. Priority Mail is normally 3 business days across country from our shipping location in California compared to UPS Ground, which is 5 business days. In addition, U.S.mail delivers on Saturdays at no extra charge.  A few shipments go by Parcel Select, mainly Greenleaf Aroma Decor Oils which are flammable. Heavier and physically larger shipments like several jar candles usually ship by UPS.

Customers can also choose UPS services such as Ground, 3 Day, 2-Day and Next Day Air as well as Priority Mail, but these options are more expensive and do not qualify for free shipping. Customers who need shipments quickly may want to consider Priority Mail over UPS options, as Priority Mail is usually less expensive and just as fast or faster than some of the expedited UPS options.

Thanksgiving Shipping Schedule

TartBurners.com will not be shipping orders on Thanksgiving and the day after (Nov 28-29). Orders placed after 8 am PT 11/27 will ship on Monday 12/2.  Also, UPS does not move packages on  Nov 28-29, so orders shipped by UPS will take 2 extra business days to reach their destinations.

Happy Holidays!
