Holiday Shipping and Schedule

Please note that UPS does not guarantee shipping times for ground deliveries during the holidays, although probably 99% or more are delivered on time. Once a package leaves our warehouse, we have no control over UPS shipping as well as weather that impacts shipping.

Orders placed after 8 AM Pacific Time Thursday 12/13 but before 8 AM Pacific Time Friday 12/14 will ship 12/14. Regular UPS ground shipping will deliver these orders 12/21 to locations east of the Mississippi River and possibly sooner for locations closer to California.

Orders placed after 8 AM Pacific Time Friday 12/14 but before 8 AM Pacific Time Monday 12/17 will ship 12/17. Regular UPS ground shipping will deliver these orders 12/24 to locations east of the Mississippi River and possibly sooner for locations closer to California.

After that, faster UPS shipping methods will be needed to get orders to locations east of the Mississippi River by 12/24. Unfortunately, these shipping methods are very expensive.

TartBurners.com will be closed December 21 through January 2, 2008 for winter holiday. We will reopen January 3, 2008. We will not be shipping orders during this time and we will be unable to return phone calls and emails.

Product Shipments This Week and Next

We have received shipments this past week from Tyler Candles, Bridgewater Candles, Beanpod Candles, Side Heating Large Jar Candle Warmers, Irvins metal tart burners & Honey House. Most of these items are now in stock. Next week, we expect shipments from McCall's Candles, Wickman wick trimmers, Virginia/Woodwick Candles, Tyler Candles, Scent Shop & Naked Bee.

We expect more Virginia/WoodWick Candles next week as well Lang Primitive Melting Pots.

We have received shipments this week from Beanpod Candles, Tyler Candles, Honey House & hanging tart burners. Most of these items are now in stock. We are expecting large shipments next week from McCall's Candles & Virginia/WoodWick Candles.

McCall's Candles Shipment

We have received a large shipment from McCall's Candles and most of their products are now in stock. This week we have also received replacement bowls for hanging tart burners, some Thymes Goldleaf products and Tyler Candles. We expect a shipment of WoodWick Candles next week.

Bridgewater Shipment

We have received a large order from Bridgewater Candles putting most Bridgewater items back in stock. We have also added a few fragrances for votives.

Product Shipments

Honey House and Gingersnaps were received this week, putting items from those companies back in stock. Large shipments are expected in from Bridgewater Candles & McCall's Candles by 9/21.

Holiday Closure

We will be closed July 4 and July 12-13 for staff holidays. No orders will ship on those 3 days and customer service will be unavailable. Happy Independence Day!

Web Site Fixes, Greenleaf

The various tweaks to the navigation on www.tartburners.com are now complete. The site now offers more ways to navigate, including left side, top and bottom navigations and links.

We recently added Greenleaf as a vendor, with fragrance lamps, candles, envelope sachets and wax potpourri petals.

Checkout

Today we are starting a test where shipping and billing information can be entered on the same screen, thereby eliminating one step in the checkout process. We would be interested in any feedback posiitve or negative about this change.

Also, "drop downs" from the headers on the top ("Candles", etc.) are still not totally right but are getting bettter. Engineers should have the problem fixed shortly. Please bear with us.

European Soaps and Shipping to Canada

Today we have added Pre de Provence products from European Soaps Ltd. Effective today, we are also testing shipping to Canada for a flat $29.95 charge.

Additional Web Site upgrades

We have today added a new way to navigate the site from the major product category links at the top such as "Candles", "Effusion Lamps", etc. If you place the cursor over the category, a drop down list of sections should appear. It is not working perfectly yet, so please bear with us.

Porcelain Dome Holders

We have a new line of Porcelain Dome Tea Light Holders. These can be seen at www.tartburners.com/podotealiho.html

Upgrade published

Our upgrade is mostly complete and has been published for the public. The out of stock markings are now accurate.

We have added more ways to navigate the site including:

1. Section headers at the top focused on product groups
2. Search by brand box at the top left
3. List of brands links grouped by product type at the bottom home page

We have also increased our product offerings significantly for WoodWick Candles, Beanpod Candles, Bridgewater Candles, Tyler Candles, Keepers of the Light, The Thymes and Enchanted Meadow. We expect more products from K Hall and Colonial Candle soon.

Update on Upgrade

We apologize but the engineers are taking way longer than we expected on our upgrade. It will hopefully be complete by 2/22. The web site right now is fully operational but the labelling of items in stock and out of stock is inaccurate in many cases. Once completed, the site will be easier to navigate and we will have more items available for sale.
